Rocking it today

Worked on removing more trees shrubs and rocks out of the area that we are planning to build on. Lots of rock to move out, some pretty big pieces of quarts granite rock weighing somewhere between10 to 20 plus pounds. Got my g daughters out there to help today since they have high stakes in this build as they are getting a brand new room accompanied with black and white board for their classroom fun and their own bathroom. There are several piles of rock now and I am debating on what they will be used for.

The build is on

Well, I am off and running!
I started my house project this week. Plans all done and marked my boundaries and staked them out. I spent the day clearing shrubs and raking leaves and my helper cut a few trees for me.  Here are some before and after shots of what I got done before it started to sprinkle.

This is my plans the dining room (which is our living room now) and bedroom are the only part of the house that we have right now that we are keeping which is in this plan as it will be after the new addition. That first addition was added to a 1970's trailer that is rapidly falling apart. I made the plans keeping in mind that all new plumbing will be in the new addition to cut cost too.
The old trailer will be torn down and the outside of the house will be cord-wood. This is the cheapest route I could come up with for very little money and trust me I have made 100's of plans and revamps in the last few years.
Tired for now, but will be ready to get back at it tomorrow. We are ordering block soon as we dig out the footers. I will be starting on them tomorrow if it don’t rain.

Leaving too Soon

 Leaving too Soon
By
Emma Dorsey

Today I got the news, so sad, hard to hear.
Someone lost their life,
Someone we all held dear.
Someone too young to live out his dreams.
Great sportsman he was supporting his teams.
One who had great plans of cattle ranching.
He had only begun to begin branching.
Respectful and pleasant to all he embraced
A smile that we will always miss upon his bright face.
May our Eagles fly high to honor his name
Knowing his death will not go down in vain.
To all we have lost such a sweet young man.
May God hold on to him tight till we meet again.

Tomorrow I will be there

Tomorrow is a stream of cool clear water.
Tomorrow I will be that stream,
Traveling rapidly as I flow.
Tomorrow is sweet smells of floral filling the air.
Tomorrow I will be there washed clean as snow.
Tomorrow is golden grain blowing in the breeze, Huge meadow of flowers vegetables abundant
and huge fruit filling the trees.
Tomorrow no old, sick or broken,
Listen to frogs a croakin.
Tomorrow my friends, family and more
Will gather together and see no more war.
Tomorrow I will be young and spry,
and happy to know I will never die.
In a perfect world no one s ever known.
Tomorrow I’ll be there to welcome those who passed on,
Glorifying God’s Kingdom and singing great songs.
Tomorrow I will build my forever home and be able to call it my own.
I am tomorrow just wait and see!
Will you be there to share it with me?
