New Arrivals

This morning was a joyous surprise for the farm! We now have four baby piglets, babies of Ms Agatha (aka Big) They were all running around wide eyed and bushy tailed while their momma came out to eat.
Yesterday, I went down to check on Aggie and her sister Lucy and Aggie had escaped sometime before that. I panicked knowing how close she was to her due date. I ran back up to the house to get some food and call for her in hopes she would come running. When I started towards the barn she was in the drive waiting for me. Guiding her back to the pen I scolded her for giving me a rush. (Not like she understood me but it made me feel better.)
We are expecting Lucy to have her babies this coming week  so we will have an update and more pictures of the newbies when that happens.
This weekend has been a productive  time now that weather has changed and we can get some work done on the house project. Yesterday we started to tear down the old deck on the one end of the house  to prepare for the living room addition of our house. I have been finding many more flowers that have started poking their heads out of he ground due to all the warm weather. I have dug them up and put them in pots for the new garden area when the time comes. We are getting ready to move some dirt to add footers. Little by little things are moving in the right direction, that is if the weather stays on the warms side and not turn cold like it did a week ago. We were to get four  inches of  snow. It was here one minute and gone the next. We never know what Georgia weather will bring so we take advantage while we can.
