Progress After Irma

     This last few days have been very busy and productive for us here on the farm. I painted the room we have been working on with first coat of paint and painted the door too. No more purple! We have all the insulation in and things we need to finish up the wall we just built. We spent the majority of the day laying down all the pine flooring again and finished it up in the evening. Man, I am in pain today!

Floor is down and ready to be sanded.

     We ordered most of our roofing supplies and had it delivered. Unfortunately we ran out of money to get all of it so we will continue replacing floors till my next pay check.

Electrical outlets in.

     Today we are running electrical and putting up the tin on the wall tomorrow.
I have to paint the wall one more time, but can’t decide what color to go with. Cream seems to be the choice. We still have to remove the sliding glass door on the back wall as it passes the wall end on the side, then we can frame in a door and finish up that wall. I will be sanding down the floors soon after that so all the furniture can come back in. Then on to the next project the hall floor.

     Things are moving slow but they are coming together little by little.
