So here we go, they are calling for Idalia to hit us early on Wednesday. We are pressed to get our porch closed in to keep all my furniture and dollhouses dry that we have out there. We managed to get half way done by yesterday but the heat index proves to be a real problem. Thankfully the plan is working far better than I would have thought.

After all the windows have been locked into place we will be finishing out the room with insulation and plywood to look like the rustic
look that the rest of the house gives. Repainting the windows and the floor will be the last before I get to set the furniture in place again. We are switching out the good sofa with the pullout couch to give a more formal livingroom in the cabin and a family room with the view out on the closed in porch. We already have electric run on each wall which is a plus and a ceiling fan in place. If all goes well I will be putting the dining room table out there too.
Powering on to beat the storm and we pray the winds will not be bad but we do have plywood to cover all windows just in case.
